About Us

Susan Channing-Lloyd owns, operates, and resides at Ellrick Farms.

After years of driving to other facilities that I had operated my business from, I realized that my passion for the horses wasn't going to change. That's when I decided to purchase the facility where Ellrick Farms is today.

Being raised in a "horse family," riding was a natural thing to do. Mom (Elizabeth Channing), being a professional, started my horse show career in lead-line classes at the age of three. Graduating to showing ponies and then onto horses, my passion for the sport hasn't changed. We had the privilege of fox hunting with the Eatons, where Mom was field master, and Ray Francis was huntsmen, the Lauray Hunt and Chagrin Valley Hunt.
