Our Lessons

Hunter/Jumper students are instructed by Susan Channing-Lloyd, a graduate "A" USPC, NARHA certified instructor, and past president of the Ohio Professional Horsemen's Association. She was a member of the USPC Gold Medal winning team which competed in Japan, a member of the Tri-State Bronze Medal winning regional team. She has taken students successfully to Pennsylvania National Horse Show, Capital Challenge Horse Show and the Washington International Horse Show, as well as numerous OPHA year end awards.

Dressage students are instructed by Elizabeth Channing, retired USEF dressage judge who trained in Germany with Egon von Neindorff and Colonel Hans Handler, Director of the Spanish Riding School in Austria. She started her riding career with Konrad Fisher in Rye, New York.

Lessons are available throughout the year for all levels of riders. Our instructors are qualified and are excellent with students of all ages and abilities. We provide everything you will need including bridles, saddle pads and comfortable, well-fitted saddles. For riders who are ready for more than weekly lessons, and a taste of having their own horse, Ellrick Farms has a limited number of horses available for half leasing.
